This is my possible footage to be used with the voiceover intro.

In researching for my film, I have accumulated a lot of archival material epically pictures issues by the EPLF (Eritrean People Liberation Army) so I have decided to use them as my main source of archival reference points.

Most of the pictures were not very personal pictures but had more of a political aspect to them. The fighters were not allowed to have their pictures taken for security reasons so I was pleasantly surprised when I came across an old black and white group photo of fighters in relaxed mod in the deserts.

The image was very powerful to me so I am planning to include it in my film as background image when a voiceover is being heard. I imported it into After Effects and created the following shots sequences and will be building out the narration of a segment of the film to fit into the sequences of this old photo…. I truly believe that the tone of the photo reinforces the personal sacrifices made by the men and women within the EPLF.
