Witness Human Rights Video Hub/ Mobile Research and Impact on Developing Countries
I interned with
WITNESS.org, which is a human rights organizations for the past semester in researching as well as developing additional aspects for their
online presence in hopes that it will help them in accomplishing their overall goals of using technology to document abuse and create change
Listed at the bottom of the page is just a small review of what type of information I collected and presented to
WITNESS.org. In order to make the information accessible to everyone who might have interest in further researching
the the social, political and economical impact that mobile technology can have on developing nations, I created the
following http://del.icio.us/yonatan.kelib
section on del.icio.us which contains almost all the research that I did over the semester
Beside research, my team and I also created the online admin section for the Witness.org Video Hub which is now in pilot phase and will officially be
launched during the summer of 2007. We also built out the mobile application which would allow users to post video form their cell phones.
