Design and Create A Cardboard Chair/ Stoll

This is the cardboard chair that I made for our final cardboard chair project. I was away for a week in Korea at a technical presentation at GSCT/ KAIST Tech Conference so I was behind in planning the prototype and had a to quickly think of and build and a chair to show to class. Since I only had to days I quickly used cardboard tubes to act as the support portion of the chair and put several flat pieces to act as the seat.

I was happy with the end result and even with its small form factor, it is very strong and the response from Professor Viemeister and the class was very good. The feedback was just that I should consider concentrating on the overall design more. I guess in this particular project I was concerting more on function then on form but am sure the next version will be much more better.
