Pictures Of The Week  

Date: March,8,2006
Purpose: Taking B/W pictures at night.

I took the following pictures in Washintion Sqaure Park with my Canon A95 set in the C mode.

I did however have to increase the brightness within iphoto for some of the pictures because they seemed a bit too dark. I used the flash in some of my test pictures and was not pleased with the outcome so I took most of the pictures without flash.

I really enjoyed taking picture number six but as hard as I tried I could not manipulate the settings to allow me to capture it in another format of color I was not successful. I guess this is due to the fact that the light beam used to light the monument had a has a bluish tint to it. I set my white balance of my white card several time and this was the very best image I was able to get so I guess I'll be out there tonight taking more pictures.
