Pictures Of The Week

Purpose: To understand how to capture images in a extreme snow condition by controlling and manipulating the white balance, aperture and area of focus.

I took the following pictures on the first and second day of the winter snowstorm. I was concerned with the amount of color contrast because of the snow so I took several test shots and attempted to set my white balance accordingly.

The pictures were taken in Central Park in the morning and also around the West Village area.

The pictures were all taken in P mode, adjusting the white balance as well as the aperture.
