My group's response to the presentation by Clay Shirky on the concept of tagging and data categorization was to first explain the origin of tagging, its meanings and its significance in allowing an individual to describe and articulate their experience which is then shared with others.

We then decided that we can best express this concept by tagging certain words onto objects that we would encounter in the time period of one day. So after coming up with a total of 25 words which were printed onto labels, they were then handed out to each member and he/she was filmed as they tagged certain objects in the time period of a one day.

Once all the members in my group had their film pieces completed we then edited all the pieces into one complete short film which was then presented to our class and Clay Shirky.

Keeping in mind that this project was due in a week, I was fortunate to have been part of such a great team that really bonded in this experience and the end result which was a great 15 minute short film will be uploaded soon.

Here are the two movies from the presentation Group Intro Segment and My Personal Segment
